The Buddy Song!

So... Sarah was gone teaching track practice. So we decided to have the band over to play some jams. We left a recorder out and played the buddy song!
It can be found here:

Who's playing what?
Ashley - On the drums for the first time ever in her life. (Not bad if i may say so myself.)
Bryan - On the bass and doing the lead vocals. Not to mention he makes up the weird lyrics on the spot.
Nate - Nate was in the middle of setting up his Guitar when we first started. He finally gets set up midway through the song (and sounds pretty good.) But... well... it took some tweaking.
Brad - That's me on the keyboard (probably the easiest song i've ever played.) And i'm also singing the backup vocals.

Have a looksee!

New Job!

Well I, (Brad) got a new job this last week and put my 2 weeks in at Sungard. I start on July 9th as a game developer. So for all those that thought my passion would die with time... all i can say is Neiner Neiner!

I'll be working at a Studio called Sensory Sweep:

From what i understand i will be working on an Xbox 360 title that is based around a cartoon coming out next summer that is supposed to be a big hit. Sarah and I are both super stoked about the job...

(And i'm making all the programmers here at Sungard jealous too :))

Honeymoon

Following suit of my older (and obviously more wiserer brother) i decided to blog it up as well. Except my blog will include me, who (while not as wisered) am definitely more sexy.

Sarah and I loved our Honeymoon. By far the hardest part was coming back... In fact coming back was so hard i quit my job (see next post!) So i thought i'd share the joy of the Caribbean with the world!

No better way to start than with a kiss!

This is the two of us in Haiti. It was a fun experience, but after going to the rest of the stops... We realized, Haiti is a poor and dirty place. The people there looked very destitute, and almost cried when we told them we didn't bring money with us (which we did bring to the rest of our stops.) Our guide was bitter about their destitution, and was a big believer of voodoo. He said he had a curse on him, and had to pay his Grandma every month for protection against bad spirits. Therefore... i hereby pronounce you all Cursed... for protection, please send a check to my home address monthly.

Jamaica:

Jamaica was Sarah's favorite place by far. We took a tour that explained the culture and environment of Jamaica. They taught us how to sing and how to dance Jamaica style. That's right, i've got the Bob Marley music hip bouncing skills now, so watch out! We also hiked the Dunn's River Falls. Pretty much we got to hike up a waterfall, it was pretty sweet. We have a DVD of the adventure, and some pictures, but... we have got them developed yet. Ya Man!!

Grand Cayman:

The Grand Cayman was a lot more touristy in my opinion. There were lots of people dressed as pirates. While there we went snorkeling at a sunken ship (the pictures haven't been developed yet.)

Mexico:

While in Mexico we went and saw the ruins. Talk about Hot! It was super humid and super hot. But it was a lot of fun. I loved Mexico... but let's face it, a little part of me is Mexican. It was fun to converse with the people, even if our Taxi driver did try to teach me dirty words in Mayan.

Last of all was the cruise ship. We did a number of things, including... A dodgeball tournament, Speed-wall (rock climbing) tournament, Minature golf, Lifesize checkers, Dancing, Music, Breakfast in Bed every Morning, Best dinners you'll ever have, Swimming, ect... ect... And of course eating, all the time anytime (includ soft serve ice cream). Maybe it was a good thing i sweated so much in Mexico.
